Home Canning Basics: Jams, Jellies, & Marmalades

Make the most of winter citrus by turning it into marmalade, and learn how to make delicious jams from frozen berries! This class will cover which fruits and vegetables can be canned and preserved safely at home, canning do’s and don’ts, and the equipment you’ll need to get started with water bath canning. We’ll get hands-on with basic food preservation techniques and will learn how to make delicious jams, jellies, marmalades, and other preserves throughout the growing season. You’ll leave with jars of your creations and the skills to start doing your own canning at home safely and confidently.
