Home Canning Basics: Fall Fruit Preserves

Celebrate fall in New England (and get ready for Thanksgiving!) by making homemade Cranberry Sauce and Mulled Cider Jelly. This class will cover which fruits and vegetables can be canned and preserved safely at home, canning do’s and don’ts, and the equipment you’ll need to get started. We’ll get hands-on with basic food preservation techniques and will learn how to make delicious jams, jellies, sauces, and preserves throughout the growing season. You’ll leave with jars of your creations and the skills to start doing your own canning at home safely and confidently.
