Home Canning Basics at CSCA: Stone Fruit Preserves

Learn how to can and preserve stone fruits like plums, apricots, peaches, and cherries! This class will cover the kinds of products that can be canned and preserved at home, canning do’s and don’ts, and the equipment you’ll need to get started. We’ll get hands-on with basic food preservation techniques and will learn how to make delicious jams, jellies, and fruit in syrup throughout the growing season. You’ll leave with jars of your creations and the skills to start doing your own canning at home safely and confidently.

This hands-on workshop is for adults 18+. Class length estimate is 4 hours.
